Dr. Richard “Big Dick” Daft – CEO
Daft’s founder and CEO built the Institute after a distinguished military career that began in 1981 and ended with an honorable discharge in 1995. Realizing the need to modernize military technology and tactics, Dr. Daft innovated the application of information science, quantum mechanics, and artificial intelligence on the battlefield. He has grown DAFT into one of the largest defense contractors by revenue in the United States.
Meagon Bryn – CFO & Acting COO
Innovation is rare in accounting, yet Bryn holds exclusive patents on several forms of Modern Accounting. She spearheaded the “Eventually Balanced” method of bookkeeping, generously publishing her method into the public domain to normalize its use. During her tenure, DAFT has seen a four-fold increase in revenue while holding consistent bookings and a 60% reduction in EBITA.
Chester Macquery – SVP of Public Perception
Macquery holds a completion certificate in Branding and Messaging from the Fleece School of Marketing. He has a long history of revitalizing brands tainted by their own production methods and activities, and understands how to turn the cessation of worker abuse into powerful community messaging. Starting at DAFT as a copy advisor, Macquery rose to leadership after his successful reframing of the FLAQ-404 battlefield incident of 2022.
A.L.A.N. – Senior AI Advisor
A.L.A.N. performs deep learning across the litany of other artificial intelligence systems used at DAFT, and provides a 4-quadrillion-node linguistic interface available only to executive leadership. A.L.A.N. operates within the bounds set forth by the United Nations Human Decency Initiative of 2021, and mimics an acceptable level of empathy in accordance with the U.S. Machine Leadership Act of 2023.
